The Statue of Unity is a statue located in the Indian state of Gujarat. It is a tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, one of the leaders of the Indian independence movement and the first Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs of independent India. The statue is the tallest in the world, standing at a height of 182 meters (597 feet). It was designed by Indian sculptor Ram V.
